I strongly recommend that anyone who purchases this take the time to remove it from the gel sleeve. It is inevitable that the gel sleeve will break and leak. It's a really cool aesthetic, but lacks practicality. It will break, it will destroy the sleeves of anything near or below it, taking itself with it. The only silver lining is that those of us who maintain the integrity of the gel sleeve will soon have an especially hard to find collectible.Aside from that, this pressing is fantastic. No complaints whatsoever.

just got this today. love the blood splattered cover. sonically, its a step up on the 1lp version. highly recommended

Got a first copy and was also damaged in the mail, but the awesome dudes from Bilbo Records (Leuven, Belgium) have replaced the LP for free, second one arrived in mint condition!

Very nice press. Quiet, flat and pretty dynamic despite the complicated textures. Well mixed and mastered. I think the same 180g vinyl comes in the standard version...

Does anyone know whether this version is 33 rpm or 45?

It's 33 rpm. Sounds pretty amazing but the music's not quite to my taste.

The record looks really dirty, even after cleaning. It sounds great however, with only a few pops and clicks here and there.

If you get a chance to go to a Fever Ray Show, they are selling the 2xLP with "Blood" for 50 euros ( Paris Olympia price it may be cheaper in other territories), wich is expensive but much more affordable than the 250 euros damaged version.

I bought it at their show in Portland Oregon USA for $40 dollars. About 35 euros? Maybe less.

I was told by the distributer that MANY copies were destroyed during transport, the limited edition will be even more limited ...Mine arrived safely luckily ...

Just received it, my record was damaged during shipment, and the plastic cover has a hole on it, as a result the whole box was wet, and both gatefold cover and posters inside are also wet from the liquid that come out :(wondering if i've been the only lucky one with this..

Yeah, this is my second copy from the record store; one of the blood packs leaked onto the other copies. My first copy has some blood on the front cover of the gatefold and I was able to exchange it...for another copy with another, albeit smaller, bloodstain on the back of the gatefold. I'm just going to take it and run, and everything else is undamaged, and I really do like the blood effect. It sounds great too!

yes i just got my refund as well.. too bad there is no backup stock for problems like this..now i also don't know how/where to store this, for sure i can't put it next to the others.. gonna try to glue the hole somehow, and save some of the liquid that's inside..

Same here! Unfortunately the red gelly thing was all over the inner sleeves and the posters! The worst thing is that I just received an email from Sandbag... They can't replace it and they just sent me a refund. Truly disappointed!

Nope, happened to me to. Arrived today in Australia and the box had red patches soaked into it. Opened it up and the whole thing was soaked. I've sent them an email to hopefully get a replacement and will suggest taping up the edges to prevent it from happening a second time...Sounds like it's a bit fragile and best stored away from the rest of my collection!

A very different album to the debut - much more akin to the Knife's previous works. It's by no means a bad album but it failed to live up to my high expectations. I miss the ambience, the melody and the subtleties that made the debut so great. Having said that, this edition looks superb - no expense spared on the packaging - glossy and plastic much like the vibe that this album contains. The record(s) are flat and silent - a superb pressing nonetheless.
